What Is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is an ancient Indian system of healing which is translated to mean "the science of life." According to Ayurveda, everything is made up of a unique combination of five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space.  Ayurveda seeks to maintain an equilibrium of these five elements within each individual. We do this through the 3 pillars: Food, Sleep and Energy Management. We ARE nature. We are always digesting everything we in contact with. Ayurveda gives us the tools to create a dynamic and healthy relationship with our world through our 5 senses.
